In the company of our great family and friends, we celebrated Ethan’s 2nd birthday on a nice sunny San Francisco afternoon.

Like last year, we chose a colorful cupcake cake.

Appropriately wearing a shirt that says “2”, Ethan wandered through the crowd, wondering why everyone was standing in his play area.

He later enjoyed his wonderful presents.

Growing up, Ethan’s daddy used to be shy about birthdays so Uncle Roy would fill in for him at parties. We continued the tradition as Addie sang Happy Birthday and blew out the candles.

And when it was all over, Ethan decided to see what this whole eating thing was about. Perhaps this bagel thing is actually yummy.
